第6回GEA Global Education Awardsが開催されました

GEAとは、山口学園が推進しているGlobal Educationや学園生活を通じて得た自らの「チャレンジ体験」「学習成果」「新たな発見」「成長」を分析し、新たな価値を社会に発信する「グローバルコミュニケーション力」を競い合う大会です。
山口学園各校から13組のプレゼンター、総勢15名が発表を行いました。今年からは審査基準も新しくなり、「想いやアイディアを伝える力」がより重視されるようになりました。また個性やオリジナリティも評価項目に追加されるようになり、民族衣装を着て発表をする学生、自作マシンのデモンストレーションを披露する学生など、それぞれの学校の特色を活かしたプレゼンも数多くみられました。
結果は以下の通りです。受賞した学生のみなさん、おめでとうございます。

惜しくも受賞を逃した学生も、GEAに参加したことで得られた感動、喜びは一生忘れられないかけがえのない経験となり、未来へつながる強さを身につけることができたと思います。GEAでの経験を活かして、これからも頑張ってくださいね。



また今回は数多くの学生スタッフによって運営が行われました。来場者への対応やおもてなし、出場者のヘアメイクの担当まで行う学生もいれば、スライド作成から動画編集、当日の機材の操作を担当し裏方に徹する学生がいました。多くの学生によって支えられた大会ということも忘れてはいけません。

今後もGEAでは、山口学園のGlobal Educationを発信する場を提供していきます。
第7回GEAも引き続きよろしくお願いいたします。

 

～ My Challenge, Growth, and Discovery ～
The 6th GEA has been held! The 6th GEA Global Education Awards have been held.

GEA is a competition promoted by Yamaguchi Gakuen to compete in "global communication skills," where individuals analyze their own "challenge experiences," "learning outcomes," "new discoveries," and "growth" obtained through Global Education and school life, and communicate new values to society. Thirteen presenter groups from Yamaguchi Gakuen's various schools, totaling 15 individuals, made presentations. Starting this year, the judging criteria have been revised to place greater emphasis on the "ability to convey thoughts and ideas." Additionally, individuality and originality have been added as evaluation criteria, with many presentations showcasing the unique characteristics of each school, such as students wearing ethnic costumes or demonstrating self-made machines.

The results are as follows. Congratulations to all the award-winning students.

Even for students who narrowly missed receiving an award, the emotions and joys they experienced by participating in GEA will be unforgettable and invaluable experiences that will strengthen them for the future. Please continue to do your best, leveraging the experiences gained from GEA.

Furthermore, this event was organized by numerous student staff members. Some students were responsible for welcoming and serving visitors, providing hair and makeup services to participants, while others worked behind the scenes, handling tasks ranging from creating slides to editing videos and operating equipment on the day of the event. We must not forget that the tournament was supported by many students.

In the future, GEA will continue to provide a platform for promoting Yamaguchi Gakuen's Global Education. We look forward to your continued support for the 7th GEA.
